Aswan ls 550 miles south of Cairo
A mammoth Coptic (Christian) church overlooks Aswan and the Nile.
A trip to Aswan is not complete without a ride on the Nile in a felucca. At right Lynn and our group join in a Nubian song.
Children in home made boats greet visitors. They want ballpoint pens for school, not money. We are glad to oblige.
The Aga Khan's (1877-1967) mausoleum above in the Nubian desert and his winter villa below.
The Nile is glutted with cruise ships like these lashed to each other. 300 cruise ships work the River regularly.
