Donkeys outnumber vehicles along the Nile as we cruise south.

(left) Young man selling postcards at a temple.  (right) This vendor standing on the river bank is offering gallabayas to tourists on the cruise ship for $10 US.  We later found them for $5 in the shop onboard.
Almost all labor is done by hand.
