Szentendre, Hungary..Since the 18th Century
On our final day in Hungary our new friends Lisa and Tom asked us if we would like to join them on a day trip to the quaint town of Szentendre.   They had been to Budapest before.  We are so happy that we joined them on the 1 hour train trip from Budapest.  This historic town is a gem and we highly recommend that Szentendre be included in your travel plans to Hungary.
Photographically this town had so much to offer.  Its cobblestone streets, ancient doors and alleyways are amazing.
Lynn & Lisa check out the fabric.
It seems like almost every European town is in competition for the architecture of their churches and steeples.  The cross in the center stands in Szentendre's town square.
The shop owners have so much pride in keeping their buildings attractive, and immaculate.
This tiny car wasn't much bigger than the WWII era motorbike behind it!
