Okonjima Main Camp - Africats

We were on an afternoon game drive with our excellent guide, Stephan, tracking leopards.  We found and spent a good deal of time watching and photographing the female leopard that you see here named MJ.  We were traveling off road when suddenly Stephan announced that we were stuck in an aardvark hole...NO...2 aardvark holes, front and rear of our open vehicle.  We leave the vehicle to figure out  how we are going to get the vehicle and us out of trouble.  It is  not a good idea to leave the vehicle in the bush in Africa...particularly when there is a "curious"  leopard within several feet of us.  Stephan ordered us back into the vehicle.."Don't speak..Stop taking pictures!"  It was nearly dark.  Eventually, another guide arrived to tow us out of the hole. and we were safe.  Stephan asked us whether we wanted to go straight back to the Main Camp or to find a place for sundowners (for us it is gin and tonic in the bush).  We all shouted ..."Sundowners!!"
