Provincetown - The Cape's Farthest Point
This tall monument commemorates the arrival of the Pilgrims in Provincetown prior to their landing at Plymouth Rock.  Local lore has it that there was no fresh water at Provincetown causing the Pilgrims to move on.
Colorful buildings abound in this area that is known for the uninhibited lifestyle of its' residents.
These boats are beached until the next season..
Provincetown's funky downtown.  We had a wonderful meal at the Lobster Pot.
